CLOSED Softcover Coptic Sketchbook

Create a blank book for sketching or journaling with a structure that opens flat easily. The softcover structure holds up well enough to handle being in the field but won’t weigh the user down as much as a hardcover. Participants will prepare the covers, then assemble textblocks and sew the book with a pocket inside the back cover.
The double needle coptic stitch creates identical, beautiful braid-like stitches across an exposed spine.
Materials Needed:
-Awl
-Utility knife or X-acto blade
-Scissors
-Pencil
-Ruler
-Brush for gluing
-Cutting Mat
Provided Resources:
Paper
Book Board
Glue
All Classes are held at Editions, located at 6520 5th Ave S #104 Seattle, WA 98108. Ring the doorbell or contact Kevin for entry. If the door is open, turn left and we’re just under the stairs.

Cancellation Policy
Withdrawals 15 or more days before the beginning of a workshop will receive a full refund of tuition and supply fee, minus a $25 processing charge.
Withdrawals 4-14 days prior to the workshop will receive a 50% refund of tuition and supply fee, minus a $25 processing charge.
No refunds are possible for withdrawals 3 or fewer days in advance of the first day of class, or for no-shows.
Exceptions to this policy are only made for documented medical emergencies.
